Hey everyone,

I need to have a quick, transparent chat with you about the future of this website, where it’s going, and why I need your help to get it there.

I love running this space and creating a place for us to hang out. But behind the scenes, the math just isn’t working anymore. It costs $150 every single month to host this platform. A massive chunk of that cost goes directly into premium security. I refuse to compromise on your safety, and I’ve invested heavily to ensure your data is locked down, secure, and completely out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have it.

To try and cover those bills, I reluctantly put up advertisements.

The truth? I hate them. I hate that you have to dodge a banner just to click play. I hate that they clutter the design and slow down your experience. And the worst part? They only make about $100 a month. Every single month, I am paying out of my own pocket just to keep this platform alive and safe for everyone.

I want to try something radical: I want to delete the ads forever, and completely rebuild this site into the ultimate community hub.

I am launching a community drive to raise $2,000-$3000.

If we can hit this baseline together, it completely wipes out the hosting deficit and allows me to move forward to strip every single advertisement off this site for At least one year and figure out what to do next, and more importantly: No more banners, no more pop-ups, no more interruptions when you hit play. Just a clean, 100% user-supported space. I started this website 5 years ago and paid all out of my own pocket.

But that’s just Phase 1. This money is going directly toward features we have never been able to do before. If we hit this goal—or push past it—here is the roadmap:

• 🎬 User Video Uploads (Brand New!): We are transforming this site. For the first time ever, you will be able to upload and share your own videos directly with the entire community.

• ⚡ Lightning-Fast Servers & MySQL Database: Video sharing takes a lot of horsepower. To handle user uploads smoothly, we are migrating to a high-performance web server and a blazing-fast MySQL database so everything plays back instantly.

• 🔒 Secure User Accounts: Bringing back profiles in a deeply secure, modern way so you can manage your uploads.

• 💬 Live Chat Rooms: Creating built-in spaces on the site so we can all hang out, talk, and interact in real-time.

• 🏅 The Supporter Badge: Anyone who donates to this drive will get a permanent, exclusive Supporter Badgetied to their profile the second accounts go live. You’ll always be recognized as one of the founding members who built this community.
